Buoy Gallery
The room

A small gallery, run like a studio.

Buoy Gallery is a working room in Kittery, Maine — one wall for the current show, one long shelf for the shop, a bench in the middle, and a kettle that's usually on. We represent artists who live and work along this coast: painters and printmakers who know the tide chart, ceramicists who fire with local clay, letterpress printers, sail-cloth stitchers, the occasional boat carpenter.

"We only hang what we would live with. That's the whole rule."

Come in to browse, come in to talk. If you're new to buying original work, we'll walk you through it — payment plans, framing, shipping, all of it. If you're a collector, we'll pour you a cup and pull the drawer of small works no one has seen yet.
