Our story

A tiny shop with a very specific opinion about donuts.

We started Lovebird's because the coast of Maine deserves a donut that tastes like it was made on purpose — not shipped in a box.

Every donut is proofed, cut, and fried the morning you eat it. Glazes are made from real fruit, real chocolate, real honey from farms we can drive to. When the strawberries stop, the strawberry glaze stops. That's the deal.

We're small on purpose. When we sell out, we sell out — and the tide keeps going without us.
