Moodra is an unhurried hair and wellness studio tucked between the pines and the tide.
We take the time to listen, to ask what your hair actually needs this month, and to
weave a small ritual around every appointment — because a good salon visit should
leave you softer than it found you.
A short, considered list — because we’d rather do a handful of things
beautifully than a hundred hurriedly. Every appointment starts with a real
conversation and a scalp check.
Pricing is per-guest and shared during your consultation so nothing feels transactional.
01
Cut, shape & dry finish
Precision cuts read for face, texture and grow-out — delivered at a pace that lets your hair speak first. Ends dusted, edges softened, weight where it should live.

Botanical color
Low-ammonia, dimensional formulas built one bowl at a time. Gloss, gentle grey-blending, sun-lifted balayage, or a full color reset — always with a bond-support step folded in.
03
The scalp ritual
A 45-minute wellness ritual: warm oil, a slow scalp massage, steam, a botanical rinse. It’s the appointment guests quietly book on their birthday, then again in February.

Our philosophy
We think of a salon as a small ecosystem — the water, the light, the chair, the pace.
Change any one of those and the whole visit changes.
Owner & lead stylist
Your name looks lovely right here.
Plant-forward, alwaysWe choose lower-impact color lines, refillable back-bar, and cloths washed with unscented soap. Softer on you, softer on the seacoast.
A slow book, on purposeWe keep the day intentionally quiet. Fewer chairs means the conversation, the shampoo, and the finish all get their full breath.
Consultation, alwaysEvery first visit begins with fifteen minutes and a cup of something warm. No commitment — if the fit isn’t right, we’ll happily point you to a neighbor who is.
Your visit
What happens between the door and the mirror.
Every appointment follows the same quiet shape — whether you’re here for a trim,
a full color, or an hour of scalp care. We build in enough time that nothing feels rushed.
Arrival
You’re met with something warm to drink and fifteen unhurried minutes to talk about your hair, your week, and what today should feel like.
Reading the hair
Before any water touches your head we check the scalp, the porosity, and the previous month’s wear — and adjust the plan aloud, together.
The work
Cut, color, or ritual — performed with a slow hand and a quiet room. Only one guest per stylist at a time. No double-booking, ever.
Send-off
A finish that mirrors how you actually wear it, a written note of what we used, and a soft reminder for when to come back — no pressure to over-schedule.
The room
A quiet studio, held gently.
Real photos of the space, the light, and the guests will live here.
