# Ramsey Plumbing & Heating — Owner-Ready Media Kit

**Prepared for:** Chris Ramsey / Ramsey Plumbing & Heating — York / York Harbor, Maine
**Serving:** Southern Maine & Seacoast New Hampshire
**Prepared:** 2026-06-07
**Status:** Ready to use after a 10-minute facts check (see the last section). Everything here is written so you can copy, paste, film, and post without a marketing person in the middle.

---

## 1. Cover note (read this first)

Chris —

You already do the part most plumbers get wrong: you show up, you explain it straight, you leave the house cleaner than the chain guys leave the driveway. That's the whole brand. We didn't invent anything — we just wrote down what your customers already say about you and built the words, the posts, the videos, and the song around it.

This kit is built to be used by *you*, not by an agency. Pick what you like. Ignore what you don't. Nothing in here posts itself, spends a dime, or contacts anyone. Before anything goes public, run the 5-line facts check at the bottom (phone, license number, service radius, whether you do emergency calls, and photo permission). That's it.

The one rule that makes all of this work: **be the plumber people keep in their contacts before they need you.** Everything below serves that.

— Built for you by Ethan's shop

---

## 2. Positioning (one paragraph you could say out loud)

Ramsey Plumbing & Heating is the local plumber Southern Maine and Seacoast NH homeowners call when they want the problem actually solved — no upsell theater, no mystery invoice, no muddy bootprints. Chris is a Master Plumber who diagnoses it clearly, fixes it right, and respects the house while he's in it. You don't call Ramsey because of a billboard. You call because a neighbor said "save this number."

**The competitor we beat:** the big regional chain with the catchy radio jingle and the rotating cast of techs nobody remembers. We win on the three things they can't fake — a name, a face, and a clean job site.

---

## 3. Who we're talking to (audiences, ranked)

1. **York-area homeowners (35–70)** — own their home, value competence over the lowest bid, terrified of water damage. The core. Most of your marketing should point here.
2. **Coastal & seasonal rental owners** — open-up and close-down season is predictable revenue. They want one less thing to fail while guests are in the house.
3. **Renovation & remodel contractors** — want a plumber who hits schedule and communicates, so *their* finish looks easy.
4. **Property managers** — multiple units, repeat work, value a reliable single point of contact.
5. **New-home builders** — longer cycle, relationship play.

> Practical note: 70% of your content effort should aim at audience #1. They refer the most and they're the ones searching "plumber near me" at 7am with a wet basement.

---

## 4. The campaign: "The Plumber You Keep"

One idea ties the whole year together so you're not reinventing a theme every week.

**The line:** *The plumber you keep in your contacts.*

**Why it works:** It reframes the buying decision. Most plumber ads scream "EMERGENCY? CALL NOW." Yours says: *save me now, so the emergency is already handled.* That's a lower-pressure ask, it matches how people actually pick a plumber (word of mouth + saved contact), and it turns every satisfied customer into a billboard. It also pairs perfectly with the brand song of the same name.

**The repeatable action:** end every job, every post, every video with some version of "save this number." Magnets, the truck, the invoice footer, the website, the song chorus — all one drumbeat.

---

## 5. Brand song — "The Plumber You Keep"

You have a finished, original country-folk track written for the business. File: `ramsey-plumbing-the-plumber-you-keep.mp3` (also embedded on the media page). There's a second instrumental-leaning cut, `ramsey-plumbing-coastal-maine-jingle.mp3`, useful as background under videos.

### Lyrics one-sheet (for print / liner / caption use)

> **NOTE:** These lyrics reflect the song's theme and structure. Before printing them as the *official* lyrics, play the track once and match any line you want to quote word-for-word — small AI-vocal wording can drift. Use as the lyrical "spirit sheet" until matched.

**"The Plumber You Keep"** — country-folk, mid-tempo, warm

*Verse 1*
There's a drip in the dark you can't sleep through,
a cold pipe morning, no idea what to do.
You don't need a stranger, you need someone true —
somebody local who'll show up for you.

*Chorus*
So you keep that number right by the phone,
the plumber who treats your house like his own.
Clean boots, straight answers, work done deep —
Ramsey, the plumber you keep.

*Verse 2*
From York Harbor down to the Seacoast line,
clear what it'll cost you, clear on the time.
No muddy floor, no runaround,
just honest work, the cleanest in town.

*(Chorus)*

*Bridge*
Small leak today beats a flood next week —
save it now, the plumber you keep.

### Where to actually use the song
- **15–30 sec cut as the bed under every reel/short.** This is its #1 use.
- **Last 5 seconds of every video:** chorus line + your number on screen.
- **On-hold message / voicemail tail** (a few bars).
- **Website hero** as a tiny "▶ hear our jingle" play button (don't autoplay).
- **A "behind the song" post** — people love that a local plumber has a real song. It's shareable in a way an ad never is.
- **Do NOT** run it as paid radio/TV until the facts check + a quick rights confirmation is done.

## 6. Social posts (copy-paste ready)

Each is written to stand alone. Pair with the suggested visual; none require fancy production.

**Post A — The save-the-number hook**
> A plumbing problem is never convenient. The fix shouldn't be a second emergency. Save Ramsey Plumbing & Heating now → clear diagnosis, fair price, clean work, across Southern Maine & Seacoast NH. The plumber you keep in your contacts. 📍 [phone]
*Visual: clean finished repair, or the truck.*

**Post B — Small leak, big save**
> That little drip under the sink? It's cheaper today than it is after it rots the cabinet. Catch it early. We'll tell you straight whether it's a 20-minute fix or something more. [phone]
*Visual: close-up of a fitting / hands tightening a valve.*

**Post C — Rental & seasonal owners**
> Opening the cottage this season? Make the plumbing the boring part of the checklist. A pre-season once-over now beats a frozen-pipe call when guests are already booked. Message us to get on the schedule.
*Visual: coastal home exterior.*

**Post D — Why "clean" matters**
> We bring boot covers and we leave the room cleaner than we found it. Sounds small. Ask anyone who's had a plumber track mud across the kitchen — it isn't. Respect for your home is part of the job.
*Visual: before/after of a tidy work area, or boot covers going on.*

**Post E — Review proof (social proof)**
> Our customers keep using the same four words: responsive, honest, clean, practical. We didn't pick those — they did. That's the whole reputation, and we work to keep it. [phone]
*Visual: a real (permission-granted) review screenshot, or text card.*

**Post F — Meet Chris (face of the brand)**
> Hi, I'm Chris. Master Plumber, York Harbor based. When you call Ramsey you get me or my crew — same name, same standards, every time. No call-center, no mystery tech. That's on purpose. [phone]
*Visual: Chris, to camera, by the truck. Most important visual asset you can capture.*

**Post G — Water heater**
> No hot water is not a personality trait. We diagnose fast, lay out your real options (repair vs. replace, no scare tactics), and install clean. [phone]
*Visual: water heater install, gauge close-up.*

**Post H — Local roots**
> York-built service for York-area homes. We live here, our kids go to school here, and our name is on the truck. That's accountability you can't outsource to a 1-800 number.
*Visual: York/coastal texture, truck in a recognizable local spot (with permission).*

- Day 4: Film REEL 2 ("Meet Chris") on a real job. Don't overthink it — one take is fine.
- Day 5: Post Reel 2 to Facebook/Instagram. Post Social Post F (Meet Chris) anywhere it didn't fit.

**Week 2 — Proof & usefulness**
- Day 8: GBP Post 2 (the leak tip). Post Social Post B.

- Day 15: GBP Post 3 (trust). Post Social Post A (save the number).

- Day 18: Film REEL 1 ("Save the number") — pull clips from jobs you've already done this week.
- Day 19: Post Reel 1.

**Week 4 — Rhythm**
- Day 22: GBP Post 4 (seasonal). Post Social Post C (rentals) or D (clean).
- Day 23: Ask 5 more customers for reviews.
- Day 25: Post Social Post G (water heater) or H (local roots).

- Day 30: Set the ongoing cadence: **1 GBP post/week, 1 reel every 1–2 weeks, review ask after every job.** That's the whole machine.

---

## 13. Talking points (for Chris & any crew)

Say these in your own words. The point is consistency, not a script.

**For customers, on the job:**
- "Let me show you what's actually going on before we do anything." *(clear diagnosis — your #1 differentiator)*
- "Here's the fix, here's what it runs, here's the timeline. Any questions before I start?"
- "I'll leave it cleaner than I found it."
- "If everything's good when we're done, a quick Google review really helps us out."

**The brand in one sentence (the elevator pitch):**
> "We're the local plumber you keep in your contacts — clear about the problem, fair on price, and clean in your home. Master-Plumber owned, right here in York."

**What we never say:**
- Never promise 24/7 unless it's actually true.
- Never bad-mouth the chains by name — just be the obvious better option.
- Never quote a firm price sight-unseen; "I'll tell you straight once I see it" beats a wrong number.

---

## 14. Factual & rights review checklist (DO THIS BEFORE ANYTHING GOES PUBLIC)

Five lines. Ten minutes. Everything above has `[phone]` / `[verify]` placeholders for exactly this reason.

- [ ] **Phone, email, website** — exact and current, dropped into every `[phone]`/`[email]`/`[website]` placeholder.
- [ ] **License** — confirm Maine Master Plumber license number (and NH if you work there); only print the number once confirmed.
- [ ] **Service radius** — confirm the towns/area you actually want calls from; the copy says "Southern Maine & Seacoast NH" — tighten if needed.
- [ ] **Emergency / hours** — confirm whether you offer after-hours/emergency service. If not, remove any "ready when you need us" implication. **Do not claim 24/7.**
- [ ] **Photos & reviews** — only use real job photos and named reviews *with the homeowner/customer's permission*. No homeowner faces or interiors without consent.
- [ ] **Song rights** — before any paid/broadcast use of the track, confirm you're clear to use it commercially.
- [ ] **Services list** — confirm the six service tiles match what you actually do.

Once those boxes are checked, this kit is live-ready as-is.
